0 CupidCare, Theranosis, Green Pyramid & Newsdash raises $29,000 each In a startup event organised by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), 4 startups including tele-health platform CupidCare , diagnostic & therapy platform Theranosis Life Sciences, biotechnology-based product maker Green Pyramid Biotech, and mobile newspaper app Newsdash have raised seed funding of about $29,000 each, reports Iamwire . The funding was led by investors including Unitus Seed Fund, 50K Ventures, Indian Angel Network, among others. CupidCare was founded in 2016 by Krishna Teja Korrapati and Sriram Varma. Theranosis Life Sciences was also founded in 2016 by Mike Raghavan, Shibichakravarthy Kannan, Madhavi Muranjan. Phanindra Sama, Narayan Ramachandran, and Pranav Pai also participated in the funding round. Skedool.it was founded in 2015 by Deepti Yenireddy and Naveen Varma. The company is currently based in US and India; it plans to use the capital for development, growth in operations, and talent acquisition. DriveU was founded in 2015 by Ramprasad Rahm Shastry, Ashok Shastry and Amulmeet Singh. The new funds will be used for scaling up operations and geographical expansion. It currently offers services in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi. The startup plans to use the fresh funds to expand to newer locations and hire new technical talent. The company was founded in December 2012 by Ojha, and Ajay Pandey. It claims to curate around 10,000 fitness centres and 6,000 trainers from 20 cities on its platform. Vertuals produces advertisements for brands and aims to link brands and marketers with content creators on its platform.
