Witnesses: Man hands teller note Published 8:13 PM MDT Apr 22, 2014 View Large Photos A man wearing a baseball cap with the letters "LA" on it robbed a credit union in Albuquerque Tuesday. Related The man entered the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union at 6501 Indian School Road NE after 1 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money, according to witnesses. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber, who left the bank. The man is described as a white male with brown hair, approximately 5 feet 10inches tall, about 45 years old, with a medium build and a tattoo on his right forearm. He wore a black and white baseball cap with the initials "LA" on it, a white T-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes. Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense, and the penalty increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime. Anyone with information about this bank robbery is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at 505-889-1300 or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 505-843-STOP. The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the robber's arrest and conviction. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
