Fort Dearborn acquires NCL Graphic Specialties US-based decorative labels supplier Fort Dearborn has completed the acquisition of NCL Graphic Specialties. The acquisition will allow Fort Dearborn to expand its presence in the decorative label and packaging sectors. NCL distributes products such as cut and stack labels, promotional printing and flexible packaging solutions. The company also manufactures lexible packaging solutions, including frozen food bags, steam food bags, cereal and snack bags and shrink bundling film solutions. NCL’s other product solutions include different promotional products neck hangers, paper premiums and other point of sale (POS) marketing materials. The company developed Advanta-Pak system to produce labels. Its manufactures die-cut labels with in-stock options and pizza labels with anti wrinkling and anti tearing features. With around 170 employees, the company operates two production facilities in Waukesha and Menomonee Falls of Wisconsin. The combined company, which operates 17 production locations across North America, provides expanded product solutions to the customers. Fort Dearborn CEO Kevin Kwilinski said: “We look forward to working with our NCL associates and together bringing new capabilities and services to our customers. “We have a heritage of growth through private and family-owned acquisitions that we look to continue to build upon and better serve the market.” Fort Dearborn provides decorative labels to the food, beverage, spirits, paint and coatings, household and personal care, beer and nutraceutical markets. In addition, the company distributes equipment across multiple printing technologies, including digital, lithographic, flexographic, and rotogravure.
