According to sources on Sunday, Naver Webtoon is planning to establish a system that allows readers to directly support individual creators. Industry insiders anticipate that this feature might be integrated into the Naver Webtoon platform as early as the beginning of next year. Naver Webtoon is reportedly considering importing the sponsorship method, prevalent in North America and Europe, and implementing its own system in Korea. Discussions have included the possibility of granting advertisements into amateur creations, thus sharing revenue with the creators.
