0 DocPlexus raises $700k in seed funding DocPlexus , a networking platform for doctors, has raised $700,000 in seed funding from Uniqorn Ventures and ASP Consulting, reports Vccircle . The Pune-based startup will use the funds to sign up more doctors on the platform as well as launch an iOS app. Founded in June 2014 by Phanish Chandra, the platform claims that nearly 15% of the doctors in India use the platform, and that it has registered around 100,000 doctors from 1,500 locations and 83 specialities. It competes with other platform like PlexusMD and Curofy. *** Naturally Yours secures funds from Sanjay Mehta Naturally Yours , an ecommerce venture for organic food, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Sanjay Mehta, reports Vccircle . The platform will use the funds to expand its product range, its core and support team as well as reach 10,000-15,000 order per month in the next 1-2 years. As of now, the company sells its own brand of food with over a 100 products, which it also lists on other ecommerce portals like Flipkart, Amazon, ShopClues, Pepperfry and Healthkart. The company claims that it will launch 70-100 products in the next couple of years. Advertisement *** Curofy raises pre-series A funding from RoundGlass Curofy , a networking platform for doctors, has raised an undisclosed amount in pre-series A funding from RoundGlass Partners, reports Vccircle . The startup will use the funds for product development, hiring and marketing. Founded by  Mudit Vijayvergiya, Pawan Gupta and Nipun Goyal, the app was officially launched in February 2015. As of now, it claims to have over 10,000 registered doctors from 70 cities on its platform. The platform had previously raised angel funding worth $160,000 from India Quotient, Spice Labs and other angel investors. *** ZuperMeal secures $2 million from Sanjeev Kapoor & others ZuperMeal , a mobile-only home-cooked food aggregator has raised $2 million in seed funding from Sanjeev Kapoor, Ravi Saxena and two unnamed foreign investors, reports Vccircle . The startup will use the funds to grow its operations, upgrade technology infrastructure and hiring. Founded in July by Pallavi Saxena Balasubramanian A and Prabhakar Banerjee, the startup connects home chefs to consumers via its mobile app. The company claims to have 150 home chefs on its platform and serve 60-70 meals a day. The startup mentions that it is looking for an additional $30 million for investment for expansion. *** Quifers secures Rs 2 crore from IAN and Smile Quifers , a logistics platform, has raised Rs 2 crore in a round of funding led by Indian Angel Network and Smile, reports YourStory . The Mumbai-based platform will use the funding to enhance its technology, expand to other cities and hiring. Launched in April 2015 by Amit Mishra, Amit Bansal and Vaibhav Gupta, the platform aggregates light commercial vehicles to provide goods transport to people. As of now, the platform claims to add 100 new customers a week and plans to increase its fleet size from 200 to 250. 0
