Millstone Medical Outsourcing, a provider of post-manufacturing and aftermarket services, has purchased MycoScience, a medical device and pharmaceutical laboratory testing, environmental testing and regulatory support services company. Headquartered in Willington, Conn., MycoScience is a contract manufacturing organization that operates out of an FDA-registered facility. The addition of MycoScience to Millstone aims to bring laboratory and environmental testing services with industry and regulatory experience to Millstone’s capabilities. Millstone looks to offer these services in-house, with improved controls around product testing. “With the acquisition of MycoScience, we can offer our customers more support and better controls around product testing, with a single expert point of contact,” says Karl Neuberger, Millstone Medical Outsourcing CEO. “The more advanced and thorough post-manufacturing and aftermarket services we can offer our customers, the more we can support them in creating and accelerating products that change patients’ lives.”
