On Dec. 22, 2011, Wine Industry Insight quoted My Wines Direct CEO Robert Miller as saying the company was looking for a buyer. Employees, clients and suppliers indicated that they believed the company would close this week. Their fears have been confirmed. The My Wines Direct Web site today also closed, posting only the following message: My Wines Direct, Inc. has closed down to reorganize and restructure. All previous orders will be fulfilled. The team behind My Wines Direct is very grateful for your past patronage, and for the opportunity we have had to bring you great wines at terrific values since 2004. You may contact us via email Thank you again for the past seven years of business. Best Wishes for 2012!
