The merger will increase the combined total number of employees to over 350 and annual revenues to $95 million. The merger will encompass Total Plumbing’s commercial clients, while its Special Projects and Service divisions will remain under the Total Plumbing name led by Shawn Kennedy. “MTech and Total Plumbing have enjoyed a strong working relationship for many years,” said Thomas Dean, president and co-founder of MTech. “This merger answers what our clients have asked for, a company that provides true design/build commercial HVAC and plumbing capabilities complemented with strong maintenance and repair services.” Steve Kugler, executive vice president and co-founder of MTech, leads the integration efforts. “This merger allows us to provide better service to our clients, deepens our craft resources, and provides additional growth opportunities for our employees,” he said. “Together we will be well-positioned to take advantage of Colorado’s improving construction market.” “Our cultures blend perfectly because both companies share a commitment to integrity and excellence in the services we provide,” explained Roger Rayfield, CEO and founder of Total Plumbing. “Both companies see this union as a natural progression, as the most logical next step in providing enhanced services to our clients.” Rayfield will join MTech’s board of directors.
