Mathijs Eefting is one of the co-founders of Moteefe, a custom merchandise platform for influencers and marketers. In 2019, Moteefe won the Best Scale-Up Team of the Year award at the 2019 UKBAA Angel Investment Awards. Discussing the importance of the nomination, Mathijs shares: “Receiving the nomination, obviously was exciting news within the company. I think it’s a testament to the hard work that we’ve done with the team across the world. It gives opportunities to get your name out there to tell your story, connect with new investors, and also just a moment to celebrate with the team.” The win has had a direct impact on Moteefe being able to further their ambitions. Mathijs explains: “It has really enabled us to build up the network of investors and get our name out there, and it’s helped us to raise some investment directly as a result.” With nominations for this year’s awards, taking place on 8th June, now open, Mathijs has some advice for those considering submitting a nomination. “Submit your application and make sure you write up a great story and tell about the hard work and the value add that your business provides to whomever you serve.
