" Mimecast, a US-based IT company, has announced the appointment of Janet Prosper as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately. Prosper, previously serving as Senior Vice President in her most recent role, assumed the interim CHRO position in October 2022. In her new role, she will report to Peter Bauer, Mimecast's CEO. As CHRO, Prosper will collaborate with the executive team to shape the company’s people and organizational strategy. She will lead all aspects of human resources, with a focus on transformation, organizational design, change management, culture, employee offerings, talent management, and leader development, including DEI initiatives. With over 30 years of HR expertise leading teams in large global organizations, Prosper has previously worked with CareerBuilder as Senior Director of Global HR, Ciena as HRBP Leader, and Equifax as Head of HR UK & Ireland, among other roles. Welcoming Prosper to the leadership role, Bauer said, “Janet is a strong and capable business partner, skilled at aligning Mimecast’s people strategy with our company goals to drive business success and growth.
