The pair ditched Manchester and headed over to Liverpool for a brand new hotel launch. Brooke, who played Sophie Webster in the ITV soap, and Samia, who still appears on the cobbles as Maria Windass, attended the launch party for the Radisson Red Hotel launch. Brooke, 30, who hasn't appeared in Corrie since leaving to have her first child in 2019 when her character left Weatherfield in the back of a taxi, kept things casual in a pair of wide-leg denim jeans and black turtle neck top which she wore under a leather jacket. She added a touch of colour to her appearance with a bright red lip and look gorgeous as she pulled her brunette locks back and into a high bum while leaving the front layers out to frame her face. Samia, meanwhile, wore a black blazer over a matching black top which she paired with a black and white checkered miniskirt. The 40-year-old actress covered her legs in a pair of sheer tights and popped on a pair of heeled ankle boots. The pair posed together for some snaps which Samia shared to her Instagram Story. While she is no longer under contract with the ITV soap, the door has been left open for her character to return after Sophie left in the back of a taxi in October 2019. Her exit from Weatherfield came ahead of the birth of her first child, Mexx, who was born on October 23 2019, and on May 4 2021 Brooke gave birth to her second son Monroe with her footballer fiance Kean Bryan. Brooke took toddler Mexx with her to the Salford-based set where she got to catch up with her on-screen family and former co-stars. And there was also time for some photo opportunities outside some of the soap's famous landmarks. Brooke and Mexx could first be seen posing outside Webster's autocentre which of course belongs to Brooke's on-screen dad, Kevin Webster, played by Mike Le Vell. The pair also paid a visit to the iconic Rovers Return and the mother-and-son were also sweetly seen holding hands as they walked down the cobbles. "The Most Iconic Street," Brooke started the caption of the string of snaps. "Today I took Mexx back to Corrie, Last time I was here I was about to give birth to him!! 3 years have past, everything has changed, yet everything is still the same..
