The Board was put in place to help the company further develop strategy, trial new clinical and business concepts and expand pertinent industry relationships. MedZed’s Clinical Advisory Board will be comprised of veteran industry experts who share an interest in the Company’s vision for caring for patients where they live via innovative telemedicine-enabled home care models. "Each new Advisory Board member brings deep industry knowledge and experience to their roles. The Board will help MedZed develop novel clinical programs to aid in caring for our patients, pioneer new ways to serve our clients and propose strategies to forge partnerships within the communities we serve,” noted Neil A. Solomon, M.D., Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at MedZed. The individuals that have joined MedZed’s Clinical Advisory Board include: Mark Smith, MD - Co-chair of the Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network’s Guiding Committee and founding Advisory Board member at Health Velocity Capital. As we continue to rapidly grow and position MedZed as a leader in managing high-risk patients through our innovative telehealth solution, we will look to the sage advice and extensive experience of the members of our Clinical Advisory Board for direction and guidance. We look forward to contributions each of these seasoned experts will make in their roles on our new Board, and thank them for their willingness to assist us in advancing telehealth as a better and more cost-effective option within the healthcare system.” About MedZed MedZed , based in Atlanta with operations in Los Angeles, partners with health insurers and other risk-bearing entities to provide next-generation house calls to individuals with chronic conditions by combining its mobile network of CareProviders, comprised of qualified nurses, paramedics and medical assistants, with its proprietary telemedicine solution, Patient and CareForce Technology (PACT).
