Linkedin Mediarithmics lève 3 millions d’euros auprès de Ventech pour développer sa plateforme de data marketing et favoriser sa croissance en Europe. Mediarithmics explore le data marketing à travers une suite intégrée et modulable dans le cloud proposant des fonctions de DMP (Data Management Platform, collecte et analyse de données clients et prospects), DSP (Demand-Side Platform ou robot d’achat programmatique), marketing automation et DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization, personnalisation en temps réel des bannières publicitaires). La start-up parisienne vient de boucler une levée de fonds de 3 millions d’euros auprès du fonds Ventech. Le premier tour de table remonte à 2013 : Jaïna Capital, le fonds de Marc Simoncini (fondateur de Meetic), avait déjà injecté 1,2 million d’euros. La nouvelle collecte de fond va servir à « renforcer notre position en France et à appuyer notre croissance en Europe », explique Grégoire Frémiot, Vice-Président Sales & Marketing de Mediarithmics, lors d’un entretien téléphonique dans la foulée de l’annonce du financement. Le data marketing est un sujet d’avenir mais c’est trop compliqué. C’est une juxtaposition de pleins de technologies mais il fallait une solutions intégrée », explique-t-il. Créée en mode R&D en 2013 par Stéphane Dugelay (ancien responsable marketing de Microsoft Office et ex-DG de Trace One), Mediarithmics a véritablement commencé ses activités commerciales à l’horizon 2013. Stéphane Dugelay, CEO fondateur de Mediarithmics Entre les éditeurs et les régies publicitaires, la start-up revendique une trentaine de clients comme BlaBlaCar, Coca-Cola European Partners, ShowRoomPrivé, Prisma Media ou Altice Media. Localisée dans l’espace de coworking de WeWork (Rue la Fayette, 9èeme arrondissement de Paris), la start-up dispose d’un effectif de 22 personnes. Il devrait doubler à moyen terme avec le recrutement de profils de commerciaux et de développeurs. Début juillet, Mediarithmics s’est retrouvée sous les feux des projecteurs à travers l’Alliance Gravity fédérant des groupes médias comme Les Echos, Lagardère Active, Prisma ou M6 qui ont décidé d’unir leur force face aux géants du numérique pour développer une approche de publicité ciblée sur une base plus importante en termes d’audience et de volumes de données. La start-up fournit le socle technologique en marque blanche pour le compte de cette influente alliance média. Une jolie prise qui devrait prouver la robustesse de sa plateforme.
