GAMA Entertainment to Acquire IM3D and Malibu Film Group     Logo_small BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Jan. 13, 2014 - PRLog -- HOLLYWOOD, CA. Jan 13, 2013 - GAMA Entertainment Partners, Inc. today announced they have signed a definitive agreement to purchase 2D-to-3D conversion house IM3D, LLC as well as film consulting firm Malibu Film Group. Galen Walker, founder of GAMA said, "We are pleased that we were able to come to terms and bring the expertise of these two companies into the GAMA family. I have known Mark for a few years and admired the work IM3D has done in the past. GAMA can now offer our studio clients 2D-to-3D conversion for major motion pictures at very competitive rates. This acquisition is part of a larger strategy to provide end-to-end, pre/post/production services along with funding throughout the entertainment industry". Walker also suggested there may be more announcements of additional acquisitions coming shortly. IM3D will be re-branded as GAMA3D and Malibu Film Group will merge into GAMA's development and funding division. Malibu Film Group and IM3D were both founded by Mark Menta in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Menta will become the co-CEO of GAMA Entertainment Partners, Inc. along with Walker who will also be Creative Director. The deal reported to be valued at a $1.3M. About GAMA Entertainment Partners GAMA is a Script-to-Screen production company that co-funds and co-produces animated/live- action television and feature films for worldwide distribution.
