According to an official statement, Madup plans to use the proceeds to increase data and technology efficiency of its ad targeting service. Madup is a data-based mobile marketing company that maximises the effects of advertisement by selecting optimal channels and detailed targeting. It also provides customised consulting for industries. According to Madup’s website, its clients include Kakao, Google and Taboola. “We made the decision to invest for Madup’s exceptional technology, its know-hows in a large-scale ad campaign, and its growth potential in utilization of AI/Big data technology,” said Praxis Capital. Madup last raised over $894,000 (1 billion KRW) in Series A funding in 2016 from Stonebridge Ventures.
