LumApps vient de signer l'acquisition de Teach on Mars. Cette start-up, basée à Sophia-Antipolis, développe depuis dix ans une offre de nano-learning permettant à quelque 200 clients de proposer des formats d'apprentissage courts, ludiques et augmentés par l'intelligence artificielle (IA). Sa solution de mobile learning est ainsi intuitive, immersive, sociale et facilement accessible. "Teach on Mars emploie 50 personnes en Europe uniquement et notre volonté est d'internationaliser son offre, notamment en Amérique du Nord", déclare Sébastien Ricard, Pdg de LumApps. Cette croissance externe permet donc à l'entreprise de Tassin-la-Demi-Lune d'ajouter une brique complémentaire à sa plateforme. Sur le marché des intranets des grandes entreprises, LumApps apporte ainsi aux collaborateurs les outils pour communiquer, collaborer, améliorer leur productivité, et désormais se former depuis un seul portail. De nouvelles acquisitions prévues pour LumApps Depuis deux ans, la pépite lyonnaise de 300 personnes enchaîne les rachats pour compléter son portefeuille de solutions tout en poursuivant la croissance organique grâce aux innovations de son équipe R&D avec 150 ingénieurs. "Nous nous sommes positionnés sur la vidéo avec l'acquisition de Novastream devenu LumApps Play, puis sur l'accueil des nouveaux collaborateurs avec HeyAxel devenu LumApps Journeys, et sur l'assistance digitale avec Vizir devenu LumApps Companion", rappelle Sébastien Ricard qui estime avoir du vent dans les voiles avec son produit et annonce de nouveaux rachats dans les années à venir. Une cinquantaine de cibles est à l'étude pour consolider l'offre. Après avoir déjà levé 100 millions d'euros depuis sa création en 2012, LumApps n'exclut pas un nouveau tour de table pour financer ses acquisitions. "Nous sommes aujourd'hui rentables, mais nous pourrions réaliser une nouvelle levée de fonds en fonction de la taille des rachats", fait savoir le Pdg. Rachat de Teach on Mars : LumApps veut développer les solutions pour les équipes en mobilité Ces futures acquisitions permettront à l'entreprise, qui compte 600 clients grands comptes et 5 millions d'utilisateurs, de se renforcer dans un domaine précis. "Nous voulons accélérer l'accès aux ressources digitales en mobilité pour les salariés hors des bureaux", explique le Pdg. LumApps pourra s'appuyer sur l'expertise de Teach on Mars, qui s'adresse en priorité aux équipes opérationnelles, pour satisfaire les besoins de ce type d'utilisateurs et ainsi conforter sa présence dans les industries associées. En revanche, pas d'expansion géographique prévue. LumApps est bien implantée aux Etats-Unis avec un bureau àAustin au Texas, en Asie avec un bureau à Tokyo au Japon et, dans les principaux pays européens où elle possède des bureaux à Paris et à Londres en plus de son siège social lyonnais. "Notre marché adressable est déjà considérable", conclut Sébastien Ricard.
