Mental health struggles and unintentional weight fluctuations are strongly linked. Experts state that stress is a major contributing factor in weight gain and sudden, unexpected weight loss. If the last year and a half has been anything, it has been stressful. In the U.S., 61% of adults reported unintentional weight change, with an average gain of 29 pounds.
