These startling facts point to the urgent need for humans to change their actions to halt biodiversity loss. In the cosmetics industry, many raw materials are directly sourcedfrom trees and flowers or are inspired by nature. Because we, at Lucas Meyer Cosmetics and Southern Cross Botanicalscare about biodiversity conservation and the environment, we aim to bepart of the solution. Which is why we have “teamed up” with “Friends of the Koala Inc.”,an Australian organization committed to conserving Koalas andpreserving and enhancing their habitat, particularly in the AustralianNorthern Rivers region of New South Wales. By partnering with them, weaim to make a key contribution to Australia’s biodiversity. Why the Koala?
