About Limbis

Limbis is a mobile and web platform that uses Bluetooth beacons to share proximity-based media with people nearby via smartphones. These beacons are small, simple, and inexpensive. Vendors use these beacons along with our WYSIWYG web editor to create and share media with users who have downloaded the Limbis mobile app. Users may receive this contextual media on their smartphones when they come within a predefined range of our beacons, where it is saved, organized, and easily accessible. This media can be anything vendors desire, including text, pictures, video, files, coupons, and push notifications (at user discretion). The range of a beacon can be set up to 100 feet. Limbis also allows vendors to incorporate indoor mapping/positioning and micro-localized alerts for optimal contextual interaction. We are pursuing markets where app users desire easy access to more information and vendors want to share more information: retail, conferences, trade shows, car galleries, museums, etc.
