Bolt Accelerator, located in Malaga, Spain, provides 25 thousand dollars and its qualified mentorship to the startup company headed by Rustam Salavatov in exchange for a 4% share of the company. LifeFilm has already managed to attract attention of numerous investors and ordinary Internet users. This project represents a unique video editor for automatic processing and professional montage of separate video parts resulting into an emotional film. LifeFilm algorithms work by the principle of artificial intelligence and base on a shot’s dynamics, faces, colors and so on. All you need to do is just download your raw video shots and wait until the editor creates a lovely movie for you. LifeFilm team launched their trial version of the product in the autumn 2014. Soon the company was invited to become a resident of the IT Park in their hometown Naberezhnye Chelny. At that time Alexey Karlov, one local angel investor, offered to buy a 10% share of LifeFilm for 20 000 dollars, which was only the first round of the promised investments. Unfortunately, soon Karlov gave his share back and refused to finance the further project development. After that the startup team applied for a membership in Disney Accelerator via f6s service, where LifeFilm grasped the attention of the other accelerators, and Bolt Accelerator in particular. That is how Tatarstani startup project was accepted by the famous accelerator after several Skype sessions. Now LifeFilm plans to direct the provided funds to the development of mobile applications, user interface remake and further enhancement of their smart algorithm. The company will target Asian and Latin American markets, where the editor has no customers yet. With the current numbers of 70 000 users and 80 000 ready made films, the project is very likely to succeed. Popular Posts
