Share iProspect has named Belle Lenz its U.S. chief marketing officer and Joel Grossman its first-ever chief technology officer. Lenz was formerly communications director of the Americas for the global digital marketing agency’s parent, Dentsu Aegis Network. Grossman hails from Leapfrog Online, the performance shop iProspect acquired last year, where he served in the same role. Both will report directly to Jeremy Cornfeldt, president of iProspect U.S., effective immediately. Global CMO Misty Locke remains in her role. “As iProspect continues to grow and evolve with the digital landscape, we have set our sights on bringing on the best and brightest talent, especially to our leadership team,” said Cornfeldt. “Joel and Belle are both brilliant in their respective fields and will bring a new way of thinking to the agency.” Lenz will be based out of iProspect’s New York headquarters, where she will oversee all of the agency’s marketing, communications and new business efforts in the U.S. Prior to joining Dentsu, Lenz was vice president of corporate communications at IPG Mediabrands; before that, she was director of corporate communications in North America for Havas Media. She also sits on the 4A’s Communications Committee. An iProspect spokesperson said the U.S. CMO role has been vacant since Amy Quigley resigned in 2013 to head up healthcare marketing network Myelin Health in the same role. It’s unclear why the agency took so long to replace her. Grossman, stationed out of iProspect’s Chicago office, will spearhead the agency’s technology strategy and platform development, with a specific focus on its proprietary conversion platform LFX (which came over from Leapfrog). He played an integral part in the launch of LFX while at Leapfrog and will work across all clients. iProspect described its growing team in a statement as “a powerhouse of talent” that will help “expand the agency’s ability to grow within the market.” Share
