Kumu Networks focuses on the way wireless systems are built using its full-duplex wireless design. Wireless full-duplex allows a radio to transmit and receive signals at the same time using a single frequency channel. Kumu's full-duplex technology changes the basic assumptions on which current wireless radios are built, allowing for improved performance and reduced complexity in a variety of wireless devices and affecting all wireless markets.

KU-DEV-CORE
Self-Interference Cancellation Module that front-ends radios, sample transmit signal and injects a 180 degree attenuated, phase shifted and delayed "antidote" into the receiver so that the receiver does not get impacted by the transmit "noise". The solution adapts in real-time to the changing reflection environment to ensure consistent self-interference cancellation.

https://www.everythingrf.com/news/details/15601-kumu-networks-canceller-module-suppresses-tx-interference-to-a-co-located-receiver-from-1-1-to-6-ghz December 20, 2022 | Editorial Team Kumu Networks , a designer and developer of interference cancellation solutions for wireless devices, has introduced K6 , a co-site interference mitigation module. The K6 canceller has been designed to suppress the interference in a co-located receiver from a neighboring transmitter, even if these two radios operate with no guard bands between them. This radio allows for unprecedented densification and spectrum utilization in every RF environment. The solution adapts in real-time to the changing reflection environment to ensure consistent high isolation between the two radios. It operates over a frequency range from 1.1 to 6 GHz and comes with 5 SKU variants while offering an instantaneous bandwidth of up to 80 MHz. This canceller module suppresses interference signals over 40 dB and has an output cancellation power of -5 dBm. The K6 module integrates two antennas on the transmit side and the receive side while offering support for single input single output (SISO) radios. It also embeds switches that allow for bi-directional signal to support co-located TDD radios. This radio does not require modifications in the front-end radio architecture resulting in better flexibility and usability for various applications. It can be tuned in real-time so that the degree of cancellation is maintained even in the presence of dynamic variations in wireless channels. This canceller module can also be remotely controlled using multiple digital control interfaces such as USB , UART , and JTAG. It requires a single DC supply from 6 V to 12 V and operates over a temperature from -35°C to +70°C.
