In this week’s real-time analytics news: The Allen Institute for AI (AI2) released OLMo 7B, an open-source LLM, along with the pre-training data and training code. Keeping pace with news and developments in the real-time analytics market can be a daunting task. Here is our list: The Allen Institute for AI (AI2)  has released OLMo 7B, an open-source, state-of-the-art large language model released alongside the pre-training data and training code, something the institute claims no open models of this scale do today. This combination empowers researchers and developers to use the best and open models to advance the science of language models collectively. The framework features a suite of completely open AI development tools, including full pretraining data, training code and model weights, and evaluation. OLMo and the framework are available for direct download on  Hugging Face  and in  GitHub . The  Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard has announced the general availability of its biomedical analytics platform Terra  on Microsoft Azure . Enhanced functionality with Terra on Azure includes connection to enterprise data, advanced policy configuration for cross-organization collaboration, compliance agreements, and platform-wide security. Real-time analytics news in brief Dynatrace announced the launch of OpenPipeline, a new core technology that provides customers with a single pipeline to manage petabyte-scale data ingestion into the Dynatrace platform to fuel secure and cost-effective analytics, AI, and automation. In other Dynatrace news, the company announced it has extended its analytics and automation platform to provide holistic observability and security for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI-powered applications. It covers the end-to-end AI stack, including infrastructure, such as Nvidia GPUs, foundational models, semantic caches and vector databases, and orchestration frameworks. Adastra announced the launch of two generative AI solutions. Couchbase  announced the general availability of Capella iQ, a generative AI-powered coding assistant built into its database-as-a-service, Capella. Using the solution, code that used to take hours for a developer to write can now be generated in a matter of seconds.Specifically, Capella iQ enables developers to write SQL++ and application-level code more quickly by delivering recommended sample code. Powered by genAI, Couchbase uses foundation models to add intelligence to the Capella developer workbench integrated development environment (IDE). By using NLP, Capella iQ generates code, sample data sets, and unit tests. Datometry and  Yellowbrick Data  announced that they have entered into a technology partnership. The Datometry Hyper-Q platform makes existing applications work natively with Yellowbrick without changing SQL or application code. Fivetran deepened its relationship with dbt Labs with the announcement of its new orchestration integration with dbt Cloud. Now, with Fivetran as the hub, dbt Cloud transformations occur immediately and sequentially once data is loaded in a cloud data lake or warehouse, decreasing workflow inefficiencies and costs while ensuring businesses are powered by always-on data. ​​With a fully automated data pipeline, data teams no longer need to run data integration and transformations independently. Graylog announced the release of a free version of Graylog API Security. This API discovery and monitoring tool makes API security accessible to enterprises of all sizes at a time when API-related attacks are on the rise. Iterable announced its 2024 Winter Product Release featuring the new Iterable Ingest Toolkit.The Toolkit features Smart Ingest, an Iterable-native feature co-developed with Hightouch that directly connects to leading cloud data platforms and enables marketers to bring all of their valuable customer data into Iterable. LG CNS  announced that it has established an ‘AI Center’ specialized in enterprise AI through the consolidation of its AI technology research, business development, and operation organizations. The work of the center has produced six generative AI solutions, including ones for Enterprise Knowledge Intelligence, Visual Content Generation, Digital Workspace Intelligence, FCC, Generative BI (Business Intelligence), and AI Coding. Rockset announced a new instance class. This offers a number of enhancements that include general purpose instance class with different memory-to-CPU ratios optimized for low-cost search and AI applications, a lower entry price point to enable developers to start building real-time analytics and AI-powered search applications, and autoscaling compute capabilities to scale compute based on the workload. ThoughtSpot unveiled an expansion to the company’s artificial intelligence capabilities. The new innovations make analytics invisible and outcomes visible by putting humans, not technology, at the core of data-driven decision making.
