Wemade and Wemix drop all lawsuits against the exchange

Feb 17, 2023

February 17, 2023 [아시아경제 이정윤 기자] WeMade has withdrawn all lawsuits filed against exchanges belonging to the Digital Asset Exchange Joint Consultative Body (DAXA) for dissatisfaction with the delisting of Wemix. According to the legal community on the 17th, WeMade submitted a letter of withdrawal to the Seoul Central District Court against Upbit, Bithumb Korea, Coinone, and Korbit the previous day to appeal against the suspension of the decision to terminate the transaction support in three cases. japchae In November of last year, when these exchanges decided to delist due to the disclosure of Wemix’s distribution volume, WeMade objected to the decision and applied for a provisional injunction to suspend the effect. The court sided with Daxar by dismissing the provisional injunction, and trading support for Wemix was terminated at major domestic exchanges. WeMade objected to the court decision and filed an immediate appeal in December of last year, and the lawsuit was ongoing until recently. The day before, Coinone re-listed Wemix on the Won market. As WeMade dropped all lawsuits against Coinone and other exchanges at once, some claim that it was considering the possibility of additional re-listing of Wemix.
