Trussville Based Manufacturing Firm, SPOC Automation, Inc., Acquires Canadian Company BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Feb. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SPOC Automation, Inc., an Alabama-based oil and gas industry engineering, software, and automation equipment manufacturing firm, today announced its completion of acquiring KJ Controls Canada, a Spruce Grove, AB Canada-based company. KJ Controls was founded in 1999 and has developed an excellent base of variable frequency drive business across Western Canada. KJ Controls grew its customer base by focusing on exceptional customer service and providing best-in-class electrical automation solutions. The acquisition continues to build on the SPOC's global footprint strategy to deliver their variable frequency drive products, cloud based SCADA and automation solutions in the artificial lift controls space of the oil and gas industry. It also brings new in-house capability to further develop the company's integrated solution-based approach to oil field controls and automation solutions.
