About Kittiebots

Kittiebots are open source gadgets and jewelry aimed at teenaged girls. I got into computing when I was 11 years old, I had been homeschooled and was very shy so computers allowed me an outlet where I could make friends and not be scared of judgement. I didnt get into software because of gaming, or because an adult pressured me to. I got into it out of necessity. Kittiebots introduce software education to teenaged girls in a way that is appealing. They arent marketed as an educational tool, just neat jewelry and gadgets that girls can either program and improve or plug and play without needing to touch a keyboard. The Kittiebots introductory products are a necklace that changes color based on the emotion found in your most recent social media updates, a diary that texts you when its opened, and a bracelet pair that only lights up when together (for best friends).
