Kepler Vision Technologies launches international expansion with NESK partnership Kepler Vision Technologies launches international expansion with NESK partnership  ●     Computer vision monitoring provider Kepler Vision has partnered with Norwegian healthcare ICT provider NESK ·        This marks the first expansion for Kepler Vision outside of its home market of the Netherlands   Amsterdam, 12th July 2022 — Kepler Vision Technologies – a global leader in the development of vision-based human activity recognition software - today announced a partnership with Norwegian healthcare ICT Provider NESK that will see its computer vision software look after the wellbeing of elderly patients in care homes and hospitals in Norway. Kepler Vision’s Night Nurse (KNN) solution is a computer vision-based body language detection system able to detect falls, patient discomfort and wandering, notifying care staff so that they can respond immediately. By combining machine learning training and computer vision, KNN outperforms motion sensors, bed mats, and wearable monitoring systems by a factor of 1,000 in cutting down on false alarms, massively reducing the strain they place on care staff, and freeing their time for more in-person care. NESK is a healthcare ICT provider offering connected solutions to ensure the wellbeing of patients in care homes, hospitals, psychiatric institutions and in homes. The solutions it offers are designed to limit the loss of autonomy, and to better coordinate and provide professional care in all environments where it is needed. It provides a unique platform for all connected solutions essential to Aging Well to manufacturers and integrators wishing to improve the lives of those in their care, including solutions for fall detection, remote assistance, remote medical monitoring, wireless patient signal systems. and panic alarms. Dr Harro Stokman, CEO and founder of Kepler Vision said: “We are very excited to be making our next step in international expansion with NESK, Its position as a market leader in integrating healthcare technologies in as advanced a healthcare system as Norway’s makes it the perfect partner to expound the virtues of the Kepler Night Nurse solution - making it much easier for care homes and medical facilities to benefit from the advantages we offer in terms of patient care and staff workloads.” Andrè Larsen, CMO of NESK added: "Kepler Night Nurse is an excellent addition to our suite of available healthcare solutions. Its ability to alert staff to a range of potential hazards - such as falling, getting in and out of bed, getting in and out of bathrooms, inactivity etc - means it has massive potential to reduce the workload on staff and improve the lives of those at risk. The fact that the Kepler Night Nurse works regardless of the position of the bed, chairs, tables and other furniture makes it much easier to operate, and integrate with a care facility’s established practices. We have been very impressed with the potential for Kepler Vision to improve the lives of both patients and staff in healthcare environments and look forward to working closely with them bring the solution to multiple facilities in future".
