CLEAR acquires insurance broker John Ansell & Partners X The Clear Group has acquired John Ansell & Partners, an independent insurance broker focusing on a few highly specialized kinds of insurance. This latest deal represents our 24th acquisition since we were established in 2001. It is also the first deal since we attracted new investment from ECI partners last month as part of our refinance plan. The John Ansell & Partners team will join directors John Haber-Smith and Craig Smith at our office in the City of London and will work closely with our staff to drive business growth and opportunities. Established in 1981, John Ansell & Partners is an independent insurance broker with particular strength in several areas of insurance. These include outdoor activity businesses, gym and fitness centres, wine and spirit trades and owner occupied blocks of flats.
