June 15, 2022 at 12:00PM ET Demand for mental health care has risen dramatically during the pandemic, but there are now more patients seeking these services than organizations have the bandwidth to provide. As staffing and resource shortages persist, organizations are increasingly implementing clinically proven, digitally delivered behavioral therapies that help deliver effective care at scale while minimizing operational strain. During this panel, hear from three experts, including a LCSW at Indiana University Health, about how they are managing the challenges. Attendees will learn about the clinical and logistical benefits of implementing digital mental health therapies, as well as strategies for applying digital solutions in cognitive behavioral therapy. In previous roles, he has led enterprise-wide initiatives that have resulted in 50 percent reduction in emergency department visits, improved patient and clinician satisfaction, and delivered effective digital care at scale. His clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety and trauma. Luke is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and primary care integrated therapy. Luke lives with his family in central Illinois, and outside of work, he enjoys running, fishing and craft beer. Dr. Angel Enrique SilverCloud Health Angel is a Senior Digital Health Scientist at SilverCloud Health and holds a Research Fellow position in the E-mental Health research group at Trinity College Dublin. Angel is involved in the development of the strategy and vision for the SilverCloud Science team, working in the design and execution of research studies. He also collaborates very closely with renowned academics who are doing research with the SilverCloud platform. He is passionate about the continuous innovation and optimization of digital mental health products. He holds a psychology degree and a PhD in clinical psychology. He has been working at the intersect of technology and mental health for the last 10 years through a combination of academic and industry experience across Europe and the U.S. Mindy L. Metzcar, LCSW Indiana University Health Mindy is a therapist and team lead with the Integrated Behavioral Health program at Indiana University Health. Mindy has worked as a therapist and social worker previously with college students and oncology patients and has worked in higher education and student affairs in various roles at Indiana University. Mindy lives in Bloomington, Ind., with her spouse and an (almost) 8-year-old. She enjoys hiking in beautiful nature preserves and parks and traveling domestically and internationally whenever possible Moderator
