NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Adit EdTech Acquisition Corp. (the “Company”) today announced the appointment of two new industry advisors: Dr. Susan Rivers, Executive Director and Chief Scientist of iThrive Games Foundation, and Cristina Dolan, head of Alliances in North America for RSA. With her team and partners, Susan designs responsive environments and experiences for teens that facilitate deep learning about themselves, society, and the world. Susan is a social psychologist and expert in social and emotional learning and emotional intelligence. She earned two master’s degrees and her doctorate at Yale University and also served on the research faculty in Yale’s psychology department for nearly a decade. Her work has been funded by foundations and federal agencies including the William T. Grant Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Institute of Education Sciences, the Novo Foundation, the Einhorn Family Charitable Trust, and the Air Force Research Laboratories. Susan is founding Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Games, Self, and Society, the author of numerous scholarly publications and multiple curriculum, and a Large-Scale Social Change Leadership Fellow with Billions Institute. She lives near Boston, Massachusetts where she plays and designs games, with her husband and three children. Cristina Dolan is an engineer, computer scientist and entrepreneur that has led the transformation of businesses and built revolutionary products utilizing advanced technologies across many industries including Cyber Security, FinTech, Telecom, Media, InsurTech and Retail. In addition to being a cofounder of several blockchain companies, including value-based healthcare company Additum.es, she currently heads up Alliances in North America for RSA NetWitness, and has been an advisor to several cyber security, data, and next generation cloud computing companies. Cristina was a co-founder of OneMain.com, which grew to be the 10th largest ISP after a successful IPO (Acquired by Earthlink). Formerly, she held executive roles at Disney, Hearst, IBM, Oracle and Tradingscreen. The global student coding competition she launched, “Dream it. Code it. Win it”, which is the subject of her TED talk, has been honored with numerous awards including: the Trader Magazine Charitable Contribution Award, a MIT Harold E. Lobdell Distinguished Service Award, and Stevie Awards for Best Organization, Best Female Innovator and Best Executive of the Year. Recognized as an industry thought leader, she has received numerous honors including: 100 Women in Finance; Women to Watch in Crypto and Blockchain; 100 Most Influential Blockchain Women; and Thought Leader in Crypto and Blockchain. She recently co-authored a book, ‘Transparency in ESG and the Circular Economy, Capturing Opportunities through Data’ which will be released by the publisher in the fall of 2021. Cristina earned a master’s degree from the MIT Media Lab and also holds a Master of Computer Science Engineering and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. Born in New York City, she is a native English speaker and is also fluent in Spanish which was her first language.
