Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) provides services for people with physical disabilities. The association allows people with disabilities to enjoy equal rights, choices, and opportunities in how they live their lives and to make a positive change in Ireland through influencing public policy. It offers assisted living services, community centers, accessible buses, a national parking permit, driving school service, wheelchair-accessible social houses, and helps young people with disabilities to build employability skills and confidence. IWA's flagship program, IWA Sport, organizes wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, and powerlifting and runs sports clubs for children and adults. It was founded in 1960 and is based in Dublin, Ireland.
