June 25, 2023 We previously read the rumor that Samsung would not launch a Galaxy S24 Plus next year. Judging by internal information from the Korean manufacturer, that does not seem to be true. The S24 series probably consists of three devices again. Read on after the ad. Support Android Planet You are using an ad blocker. Rumor: a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus after all The Galaxy S24 series is internally referred to as ‘Muse’ by Samsung. That in itself is not so interesting, but the website SamMobile managed to distill a nice fact out of it. The top model, the S24 Ultra, is codenamed ‘Muse 3’. That logically means that there must also be a ‘Muse 1’ and ‘Muse 2’. At the beginning of this year, we read the rumor that Samsung would not release a Galaxy S24 Plus. Based on this information, this appears to be incorrect. “Muse 1” probably refers to the regular Galaxy S24, while “Muse 2” refers to the larger Plus model. The Galaxy S24 series probably also consists of three devices This intermediate size has been selling less well than the other two devices for years. Of everyone who bought a smartphone from the Galaxy S22 series, only 17 percent chose the Plus model. The regular S22 and S22 Ultra did a lot better with 38 and 45 percent respectively. Still, as far as Samsung is concerned, there is apparently room for the Galaxy S24 Plus. That’s not very crazy either. Millions of copies of the S22 Plus have still been sold. Thank you in advance! More about the Samsung Galaxy S24 series Samsung will not release the Galaxy S24 series until early next year. We therefore know little about the new smartphones. They would have about the same camera hardware as the current variants. Only the S24 Ultra may get a new telephoto lens with which you can zoom in 5x. The Ultra’s screen is also said to have a higher refresh rate for even smoother images. Are you ready for a new smartphone now?
