IDC was founded in 1987 in Mukwonago, Wisconsin by the current CEO. The Company aims to provide value-added engineering services and manufactures close tolerance, ultra-precision machined components primarily for defense and aerospace industries. The Company is ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certified and has been awarded the top Quality and Delivery rating by its largest customer, a defense and aerospace company in the United States and around the world. Specifically, the Company aims to utilize processes including turning, milling, grinding, reaming, drilling and wire EDM on materials such as aluminum, machinable ceramics, precious metals, titanium and tungsten from either billet or castings. In addition to machining component parts, IDC performs concept design and engineering services and support for its customers. The Company has performed and continues to perform work for numerous other industries including medical products, high precision hydraulics, X-ray tube components, timing mechanisms, optics and automotive ABS systems. IDC also aims to provide clean-room facilities for its customers, incorporating precision cleaning verified by visual inspection (up to 30X magnification), product assembly and testing, heat-seal packaging and labeling all taken place in a clean room environment to ensure particulate control.
