The green version of the In2Care Mosquito Trap has similar efficacy to In2Care's black trap, the manufacturer reports. In2Care announced that the green version of the In2Care Mosquito Trap is now available in the U.S. The green version of the In2Care Mosquito Trap has similar efficacy to In2Care's black trap, the manufacturer reports. The green trap, like the black trap, attracts and kills Aedes mosquitoes with novel active ingredients that target both larvae and adults while minimizing environmental impact, In2Care reports. The female mosquito spreads larvicide to other (hard to find) breeding places, where it will kill her offspring as well as offspring of other mosquitoes while slowly dying from the bioactive fungus. Like the black trap, the green trap has been lab- and field-tested and has shown superior control of target mosquitoes, In2Care reports. In2Care and Veseris have jointly worked on this development to comply with the market demands. The green version is now available in the US at Veseris locations and via PestWeb.
