About Impliant

Impliant develops spinal implants for the relief of back pain stemming from a number of degenerative conditions. Its cushion-bearing TOPS system joins two vertebrae together whilst still allowing full movement in the affected area. This is in contrast to the method of fusing the two vertebrae together known as spinal fusion which is the dominant technique for treating back problems but is far inferior to TOPS, as it doesn't provide such flexibility.
