Kolkata March 2023: BIG FM, one of India’s leading audio entertainment networks, along with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), recently celebrated its inaugural edition of the ‘BIG IMPACT Awards,’ a recognition programme that honours the success, contributions, and efforts of the “IMPACT Makers.” Through this ‘BIG Impact Awards’, the Radio network aims to recognise businesses for their contributions that enhance value and leave a significant impact on the major metropolitan markets and Tier 1 cities. The awards ceremony witnessed the presence of renowned personalities and dignitaries across the industry, which included Shri Sujit Bose, Honorable Minister, Fire and Emergency Services; Tanushree Chakraborty, Renowned Tollywood actress ; Jose Barreto, Former Footballer and Gautam Bhattacharya, Eminent Sports Journalist & Author. The BIG IMPACT Awards have been initiated to acknowledge and validate the endeavors of businesses that add value and have a significant impact on the major metropolitan markets and Tier 1 cities. Kolkata, being a hub for various businesses, has several success stories which made it the perfect city for such an event. The recognition was granted to businesses across various categories, including Building Materials & Infrastructure, IT Services, Real Estate & Allied, Hospitality, Health & Wellness, Education, Fashion, Lifestyle, and others The gala evening was hosted by popular BIG FM RJ Kaushik and Ayantika and featured incredible musical performances by The Violin Brothers and Sand Artist Kaushik Bose, which left the attendees enthralled.
