The amount of the deal was not disclosed. The acquisition will allow Acrelec to combine its expertise in providing interactive kiosks and digital display hardware, software and services with HyperActive’s drive-thru technology. Founded in 2001 and led by Joseph J. Porfeli, CEO, HyperActive Technologies provides quick service and fast casual restaurants with outdoor digital displays, order confirmation software and drive-thru service timers. Its products are used by over 40 major restaurant brands. Led by Jacques Mangeot and Jalel Souissi, the Acrelec Group provides integrated solutions that include kiosks, digital displays, order confirmation boards, tablet and table service systems, drive-thru and mobile technology. The company, which works with leading brands to design and implement customized solutions, currently supports over 20,000 self-service kiosks in 49 countries. It has over 500 employees worldwide.
