Leader in eDiscovery-Managed Review Complements Broad eDiscovery and Legal Process Outsourcing Services of DTI; Acquisition Marks First European Location for DTI
ATLANTA, GA LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM and NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 10, 2014) - DTI, the largest privately held legal process outsourcing (LPO) company in the U.S. providing eDiscovery, managed services and litigation support, today announced the acquisition of New York-based Hudson Legal eDiscovery, a leading provider of managed review services. The acquisition augments the growth trajectory DTI began in 2010 when it started acquiring major brands in the legal and eDiscovery markets. Hudson Legal eDiscovery has been a pioneer and service leader in the provision of managed document review, having served law firms and corporations for over 25 years. Its focus on legal management in the eDiscovery marketplace complements the comprehensive and defensible eDiscovery, review, compliance, information management and related legal process outsourcing services DTI provides corporate clients -- and the law firms that serve them. The combined organization will be one of the largest managed review platforms in the world. Effective immediately, as part of the acquisition, the Hudson Legal eDiscovery team becomes a part of DTI. "We remain committed to continuously investing in our legal process outsourcing platform," said John Davenport Jr., founder and chief executive officer of DTI. "This latest investment provides additional scale and geographic expansion that will enhance our ability to serve clients and deliver the most cost-effective solutions. "
The Hudson Legal eDiscovery leadership team will join the senior leadership team of the DTI Knowledge Solutions group, led by Christopher Aronson and Jason Brennan. The acquisition marks the first company-owned operating center outside the United States. "I cannot think of a better combination to deliver high quality service and comprehensive offerings to eDiscovery clients," commented Manolo Marquez, chairman and CEO of Hudson Global. "We could not be more pleased that our team will join the DTI organization to further expand their leading position in the legal eDiscovery and legal process outsourcing market. "
"We are humbled by the legacy of the Hudson Legal eDiscovery brand," commented Chris Aronson, President of DTI Knowledge Solutions. "Through this combination, both DTI and Hudson legacy clients will enjoy a more comprehensive offering, greater resource depth and global scale. "
