Dec 15, 2016, 08:30 ET Share this article NEW YORK, Dec. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Serial entrepreneurs and business partners Michael Daniels and Damien Georges have announced the acquisition of HoozeTending, a software company focused on promoting the relationship between bartenders and their patrons. Founded in 2015 by Jeff Shufelt and Danny Miller, HoozeTending ( http://www.hoozetending.com ) established itself as a popular application with hundreds of active users around Rochester, New York. Shufelt had to suspend operations for personal reasons. He said, "It was driving me crazy that such a great product was just sitting there doing nothing. I started to talk to potential buyers and quickly realized these were the right guys to drive this forward. " As part of the acquisition, the new owners are rebranding the application and extending the focus beyond bartenders. Establishing the new headquarters in mid-town Manhattan, Daniels and Georges plan to leverage their extensive hospitality network to drive customers and users to the site. Daniels said, "The idea is to make it free for users and hospitality staff while at the same time giving incentive to those staff to promote the application. Venues will have the option to manage a subscription or not. Ultimately this is going to drive revenue at venues. " Georges said he and Daniels see a massive future opportunity with this application. "Any product that fosters a stronger relationship between a business and their customers is going to become essential to that business. " He went on to say, "This application goes one step further to empower hospitality staff to create an individual brand and leverage this brand for the benefit of their employers and their patrons. " About the Acquirers Michael Daniels is the founder and President of Mango Concept ( https://www.mangoconcept.com) , a firm focused on the development and ongoing management of web and mobile applications.
