HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WANE) WANE has been told by several employees of Hiner Transport that the company has been bought out by Celadon, a transportation company based out of Indianapolis. Employees told WANE they was asked on Wednesday to bring their trucks back to Huntington. One employee said that when he arrived back at Hiner he was told that he does not qualify to work for Celadon and is therefore out of a job. According to employees, only a handful of the 200 drivers that worked for Hiner will be transferred to Indianapolis and the rest will lose their jobs. WANE called Hiner but leaders decline to comment. We also contacted officials with Celadon. They have not returned our phone calls.
