The all-cash transaction of $160      million is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in      January 2010. Healthvision’s market-leading Cloverleaf integration technology connects      the disparate software applications and technologies used throughout      healthcare organizations, enabling data to flow smoothly to healthcare      professionals wherever they are and whenever they need it. Former CEO at HighJump, Healthvision Brings Diverse Operational Expertise to Growing Private-Equity Practice
BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2014) - Russell Fleischer, a longtime technology-industry CEO who most recently served as chief executive of HighJump Software, has joined Battery Ventures as a partner. In this role, Fleischer -- who also has worked as a Battery "executive in residence" -- will serve as a key member of Battery's private-equity investing team, scouting new investment opportunities in various segments of the enterprise-software industry. Battery's private-equity group targets mid-market, software and industrial-technology companies in the U.S., Europe and Israel and works with management teams to help those firms grow both organically and through acquisitions.
