| Insurance Business America Ethisphere has released its 2023 World’s Most Ethical Companies list, and Gallagher is the only firm under the insurance brokers category. A total of 135 organizations made it to this year’s honoree list , spanning 46 industries and 19 countries. It’s the 13th time that Gallagher has been recognized. Aside from ‘insurance brokers’, there were three other insurance-related categories – accident & life insurance, health insurance, and insurance. From accident & life were Aflac Incorporated and Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America; for health insurance, those who made it were Blue Shield of California, Cambia Health Solutions, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and Health Care Service Corporation; and insurance was represented by CUNA Mutual Group, Pacific Life, and Unum Group. “This recognition directly reflects our commitment to doing what’s right by our clients, communities, and our people,” said Gallagher chair, president, and chief executive Pat Gallagher during the broker’s investor meeting with executive management team on March 16. “I’d like to thank our more than 43,000 colleagues for all they do to make Gallagher such a special organization and one of the world’s most ethical companies.”
