UKHotViews Adaptavist, the UK-based digital tools specialist, has taken its first foray into Africa with the acquisition of Cape Town based consultancy, Gravity Works. The South African firm focuses on the human element of business transformation providing consulting, coaching and organisational design. Originally founded in 2005, and subsequently acquired by current CEO Simon Haighton-Williams, Adaptavist helps clients to enhance their efficiency and embrace agile working, via a range of apps that integrate with tools such as Slack, Atlassian, Jira, Confluence and Trello (see: Adaptavist: Tooling for digital creators ). As well as broadening Adaptavist’s geographical reach, the addition of Gravity Works should benefit the vendor’s ability to support customers undergoing digital transformation. With a team of less than ten, the deal is clearly modest in scale, however, it is always good to see a former TechMarketView “Great British Scaleup” growing and spreading its wings.
