June 30, 2009 Los Angeles, CA – June 30, 2009 – OpenGate Capital, a global private equity firm, today announced that is has sold its portfolio company, Global STAR Solutions, to a management-led buyout team. OpenGate’s Founder and Managing Partner Andrew Nikou commented, “We are very proud of what we have accomplished with STAR Solutions to date. This transaction marks yet another successful exit for OpenGate, as well as a bright new chapter in the future of STAR Solutions.” Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
