Centrical, an AI-based cloud software company that has built a platform which also increases employee engagement, announced on Tuesday that it had appointed Linat Polak-Mart as a VP of Product. Following the new appointment, the percentage of women in the company's top management has reached 50%. Linat Polak Mart holds over 15 years of expertise in managing product strategy and operations at high-volume organizations. Recently, she held the role of Head of Product Experience and Communications for LivePerson, a leading conversational artificial intelligence platform. Prior, she held multiple senior product roles at NICE, a leading enterprise customer experience software provider, including Director of Product Portfolio and Director of Product Management. She holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Computer Science from Reichman University.

"We started in the cyber business in 2014, and by 2020 we had grown to $1 billion in revenue,” said Andy Newman, Vice President of BT Security, the information security division of the telecom giant British Telecom. “We have about 3,000 employees in the division worldwide. We quickly recognized that we had to enlist the help of other organizations to grow and to succeed in selling cyber products. Our sales people did not have confidence in these calls. They were not the strong point in our traditional business. We sought to provide knowledge and skill to our sales people in the company.”
Newman spoke at Calcalist’s Mind the Tech conference in London as part of a conversation with James Spiro of CTech and Gal Rimon, founder and CEO of Centrical, a company collaborating with BT, which has developed a system that focuses on improving employee performance in sales and service centers. "A salesman who works for the company and sells the same product for 20 years, the last thing he wants is to learn something new,” Newman said. “We wanted to make it competitive and include elements of gaming. We were looking for new start-ups that could help us find an exciting path to improve in this area. The main thing we were looking for was someone that would succeed in driving our business forward.”
BT found an ideal partner in Centrical, which has developed a platform that provides the employee with customized training, sets goals for them, monitors their performance, identifies weaknesses and directs targeted training to them. "We sell not only technology but also a process," Rimon said. "We have developed a process that includes consulting and assisting the organization to undergo change. Saragosti joined Centrical in 2017 and until now served as its VP of Customer Success. In her new role as CCO, she will lead strategic initiatives and growth engines to global expansions into countries in Europe, Asia, and South America. Before joining Centrical, she was VP of Customers at ironSource and VP of Customer Retention at Supersonic. Before that, she was Customer Manager at Playtech. Sadeh joined Centrical in 2019 and served as Global VP of Solutions for three years. In her new role as COO, she will carry out strategic planning and initiatives such as building a sales and marketing strategy and improving revenue streams. Before joining Centrical, she was VP of Product at LivePerson, VP of Product at Whitewater, and Product Manager at Nice. “In the last two years, the Centrical platform has enabled global companies to build employee-centered business solutions, which helped companies adapt to the ever-evolving market conditions and global norms, and despite the uncertainty and economic crisis that characterized the period have, these companies have actually proven to show growth and help their employees adapt to changes,” said Gal Rimon, Founder and CEO of Centrical. “Enabling Centrical’s customers to grow has also tremendously surged the use of the platform, which increased by 700%.
