Fernando Cabrera.// photo Neme Eugenia The Uruguayan Fernando Cabrera and the Chilean Nano Stern, in a double performance in a packed room and accompanied by the Chamber Ensemble of the Río Negro Philharmonic Orchestra, headlined a sixth day of the Bariloche International Music Festival (Fimba) marked by Latin American sounds. With concerts in the La Baita Theaterin the center of the Andean city, whose distinctive sign was the sensitivity and emotion that emerged from the stage and touched the audience deeply, Cabrera and Stern combined the interpretation of their two repertoires with the judicious interventions of the ensemble, under the baton of the Director of the Festival, Martín Fraile. The presentation of couple Cabrera-Stern was one of the highest points of what the 2023 edition of Fimba has up to now, although it also stood out yesterday the recital of the bandoneonist Rodolfo Mederos.
