Kokua, Filament merge, become Sightline Hospitality

Photo credit: Sightline Hospitality Hotel management companies Kokua Hospitality and Filament Hospitality have merged to create Sightline Hospitality. The merged company operates 14 hotels with 1,870 rooms, including two hotels (392 rooms) that Sightline acquired during the merger, but before its public announcement this week. Kokua Hospitality, which has managed more than $8 billion in hotel assets over the past decade, brought five properties with 1,150 rooms to the new combined company. The more experiential-focused Filament Hospitality came into the merger with seven properties and 328 rooms. Kirk Pederson, former president of Kokua Hospitality, will serve as president of Sightline Hospitality.
