Plano-based Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced Wednesday it acquired ExecuTime Software, a Tulsa software company with 30 employees. A Tyler representative said details of the acquisition are not being made public. Tyler Technologies was named one of the 100 Best Small Companies in America by Forbes. ExecuTime was founded in 2007 and provides time and record-keeping software. Tyler provides management solutions for local governments and has grown its revenue every year for the last five years, reporting $591 million in 2015 revenue. And in Quarter 1 this year, Tyler reported $179 million in revenue, up almost 33 percent from 2015's first quarter. “Tyler has a history of acquiring best-of-breed solutions that enhance existing Tyler solutions and open new avenues for growth," said Andrew Teed , president of Tyler’s Enterprise Group, in a prepared statement. "ExecuTime has been a trusted business partner for many years, and we are eager to pursue new opportunities with (ExecuTime CEO) Kevin (Malone) and his team now that they’re part of the Tyler family.” Tyler has been making waves in the acquisition world lately. In October 2015, Tyler announced a $670 million acquisition of Michigan-based New World Systems Corp , a company comprised of 470 employees that focused on public safety solutions for local governments. It was Tyler's largest acquisition to date. ExecuTime will join Tyler's Enterprise Group, which also includes Munis, Incode, New World Enterprise Resource Planning and Tyler's School and Transportation Solutions. Before trading at all-time high in 2015's Q4, reaching $184 a share, Tyler's stock is currently trading at $154 a share, a 16-percent drop off from its peak.
