Jarrett Collins | Jarrett has nearly two decades of experience financing and running high-growth organizations. Prior to starting NeoCarta in 1999, he created and led TTC Ventures, the venture capital subsidiary of The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters). His investing career began with Copley Venture Partners in 1989, though he detoured to one of Copley’s investments, Mulberry Child Care Centers, eventually becoming CEO. Jarrett guided a successful turnaround at Mulberry, which was later sold to the industry’s leading public company, KinderCare. Since then, Jarrett has backed two dozen private technology companies, more than half of which have gone public and/or been acquired by public companies. He is currently on the Board of Directors at Everyday Health, a leading provider of online consumer health solutions. His previous investments include Audible (IPO; acquired by Amazon), CareerBuilder (IPO), Healtheon (IPO; merged with WebMD), NetGravity (IPO; now part of Google), Qpass (acquired by Amdocs), and UpShot (now part of Oracle). In addition to graduating from Tufts University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Jarrett earned an MBA from the University of Southern California and was selected as his graduating class’s Outstanding Student by the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
