Man Who Murdered Girlfriend Dies In Car Crash While Enroute To Dispose Of Her Body

Nov 15 2021, 10:19AM EST A 31-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death died in a car crash while on his way to conceal her body. Another woman who reportedly help the man to hide the body also died in the crash, authorities said. The fatal head-on collision occurred along the R23 road in Standerton, Mpumalanga, South Africa on Nov. 9, morning, authorities said. According to police spokesperson, Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, officers who arrived at the scene of the accident, found three dead people and a survivor. The injured male was admitted to Standerton Hospital, Mohlala said in a statement. Police said one of the deceased women had stab wounds on her body. "Earlier on it was believed that it was indeed just an ordinary accident however upon intensive investigation by a team of Detectives, the evidence proved otherwise as it was discovered that, the couples were having a party at one of the couple's flat.” "Then the second couple was allegedly involved in an argument and as a result, a 31-year-old man stabbed his 33-year-old girlfriend to death. The other couple assisted him to load the dead body in the motor vehicle of the deceased with the intent to conceal the body.” "While they were driving on the R23 they collided with a truck and the female who assisted to load the deceased died while her boyfriend was critically injured and transported to Standerton Hospital.” "The 31-year-old man who allegedly killed his girlfriend also died. Police are investigating cases of murder and culpable homicide," the statement concluded. The police have not released the name of the deceased. This is an ongoing investigation and no further details were revealed at the time of this writing. In another fatal crash incident, a 4-year-old girl died and four other children were injured after their drunk mother crashed the vehicle on Sunday, Nov. 14. 25-year-old Rosalia Sanchez was returning home after a baby shower party when the vehicle crashed in the 4200 block of E. Sam Houston Parkway N., in Houston at around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. Five children, ranging in age between 2-years-old and 10-years-old, were in the vehicle at the time of the crash Sanchez’s vehicle collided with a traffic signal device and a concrete barrier wall before coming to a halt in the southbound service road near Woodforest, deputies said. Sanchez’s 4-year-old daughter suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The other four injured children were taken to Texas Children’s Hospital. Sanchez was initially charged with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger and intoxication assault, according to the news station.
